PROSTEOMAX™ – Calcium Phosphate-based Bone Cement
Prosteomax™ is a Calcium Phosphate-based bone cement designed to treat bone losses and defects due to trauma injuries, non-union cases, or even diseases of bones. Prosteomax™ has osteoconductive and biodegradable properties for synthetic bone grafts derived from Calcium Phosphate-based materials (>50%). The main compositions of Prosteomax™ are the combination of Tri-Calcium Phosphate and Tetra-Calcium Phosphate materials; which are highly bio-resorbable. The chemical composition of Prosteomax™ is called Osteopaste™.

How is it Prepared?

Prosteomax™ is prepared in powder and bead forms, then packaged in either designated cups for Orthopaedics applications or syringes for Dental applications. Prosteomax™ can be formed into different shapes and sizes using a mold (upon request) or can be directly applied to the defects. Other than that, Granulab® also provides Custom-made requests from surgeons to fit the patient’s bone gap in any shape and size.

In vitro Pre-Clinical Tests
Pre-Clinical In Vitro evaluations is based on ISO 10993 Standards series of Biocompatibility and Toxicology Test of Medical Devices for safety under GLP conditions conducted at accredited Labs of TUV SUD PSB.
